Dr. Martin Braun is one of the most accomplished and respected cosmetic revitalization physicians practicing in Canada. Since founding Vancouver Laser & Skin Care Centre in 1996, Dr. Braun has grown the largest injectable practice in the field of aesthetics & cosmetic medicine in the country.

After receiving his M.D from the University of British Columbia, completing his surgical training at Vancouver General Hospital and practicing family and emergency medicine for ten years, Dr. Braun recognized the growing demand for ethical and creative cosmetic rejuvenation procedures.

As the first doctor in Canada to perform laser hair removal over 20 years ago, Dr. Braun set the path to becoming a true innovator for things aesthetic. His demonstrates a strong commitment delivering natural and beautiful results with the most current, safe and aesthetically pleasing techniques.

Not only is Dr. Braun a hands on educator but he has also presented papers throughout the world at the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, Canadian Society of Phlebology, the Aesthetics Show, Orlando Dermatology and Aesthetic Conference, and the International Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Just to name a few.

Dr. Jonathan Brock has been a key member of the Vancouver Laser & Skin Care Centre family since 2013 but has been a working colleague of Dr. Braun’s for over 15 years.

After 5 missions with Doctors without Borders in Rwanda, Somalia, Afghanistan, Sierra Leone and Kosovo and over 15 years in Emergency medicine, Dr. Brock brings a wealth of experience and knowledge.

Dr. Brock completed his M.D. at Queen’s University, did his fellowship in family medicine at the University of British Columbia and completed his fellowship in Emergency Medicine at Dalhousie University.

When Dr. Brock joined the clinic he continued expanding his skills and knowledge by undertaking advanced training in ground-breaking techniques and treatments to ensure that he provided the ideal cosmetic outcome for all his patients.

If Dr. Brock isn’t beautifying a patient you probably find him with his gorgeous family on the slopes of Whistler enjoying all the West Coast has to offer.

As our only female injector in the Vancouver Laser & Skin Care Centre family, Dr. Leanne Rowthorn is our “piece de resistance”. After spending most of her medical career in women’s health her passion for aesthetics and cosmetic medicine naturally unfolded.

Dr. Rowthorn completed her Bachelor of Sciences degree at Guelph University, her M.D. at McMaster University, and fellowship in Family Medicine at the University of British Columbia and then headed back to McMaster University to complete her fellowship in Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Rowthorn has complemented her well-rounded knowledge of all things women with advanced aesthetic and cosmetic training from some of the world’s best cosmetic doctors. Dr. Rowthorn’s treatment of each patient is guided by her philosophy to make her patients feel their best at any age. Her meticulous attention to detail and her artistic eye complement her commitment towards enhancing the natural beauty of all her clients.

When we encourage Dr. Rowthorn to take a day off she usually spends the time exploring the great outdoors with her 3 delightful boys. One of them being her husband.
